Awkwardcore Records is a label for the "other" music out there... music that some might dismiss as amateurish, noisy or strange. Music recorded in interesting ways. Bands whose members have never met each other in person. And yet, bands you can't stop listening to.
Awkwardcore Records aims to be more of a musical collective than a traditional record label. Our bands help each other out and contribute to each other's releases. Have some good song ideas but nobody to record them with? Send them to us and you might have some new bandmates knocking on your virtual door.
All of our releases are available for free download from our website. All of our CDs are lovingly handmade.
Awkwardcore was founded by several members of the band Fewn. We are based in Rochester, NY and enjoy the sipping of tea.
