A Word Like.Attack are a five-piece from Southampton. They play electronica-influenced post-hardcore and since forming have been playing shows across the country and released three EPs, which are available both at shows and online.

Having been selected as ones to watch in 2009 by RockMidgets.com, and with the release of their third EP, "Though We Aren't Birds, We're Still Given To Flight" in July 2009, awl.a are intent on playing as many shows as possible in order to get their music heard.
