…she’s got a great performance, she’s got the look, she knows what she wants….she’s ready to go.’
Jermaine Jackson
Born in North London to a family of musos, thesps and artists, little Axe was brought up on a healthy diet of Bowie, Beatles and Betty Boo, by age 4 she was rocking out to Top of The Pops in nothing but a backwards baseball cap, sunglasses and her daddy’s ukulele. At age 8 Axe had her debut public appearances singing solos with the Chicken Shed Theatre Company, appearing on ‘Playdays’ (BBC), at the VE day celebrations (BBC) and ‘Joy to the World’ live at the Royal Albert Hall (BBC). By age 10 Axe actually performed on Top of the Pops with Princess Diana tribute single ‘I am in Love with the World’.
A couple of years later Axe was writing songs, had her own band and was performing with her dad at many of London’s open mic nights. When she was 18 Axe got into the prestigious Songwriting degree course at Bath Spa University.
During this time Axe Girl starred in T4’s hit TV show ‘Musicool’, broadcasting to
2 million viewers a week for nearly 3 months. She worked with Jermaine Jackson, Alesha Dixon, Sean Cheesman, Mr Midas and Edith Bowman. Following this, she toured the UK, France and Australia playing to crowds of 17000 at venues including Trafalgar Square, Studio Valbonne, Café de Paris, Madame JoJo’s, Cargo The Metro, Moles Club, Barflys and The Camden Underworld, supporting great bands including Beth Ditto and The Gossip, Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Bananarama. Towards the end of the epic adventure, Axe caught up with T4 again at ‘T4 on the Beach’.
Now at 21 Axe Girl is ready to take on the world. With killer pop songs and a unique quirky and powerful voice, she has an exhilaratingly energetic and thrilling stage show.

love the new stuff. but kinda miss the old school axe girl. I like girls sounded so raw and edgey and not so manufactored. but still like the new versions :)
Thanks for your outstanding performance at PoP-Rocktic! at Madame Jojo's. We loved having you apart of the show and we had a lot of great reviews about your performance.
You can't still get it as we had 900 copies stolen. ouch. I'm bringing a new ep out on itunes soon though, and i might put some of the old classics on it :)
