Axewagon started in 2001 w/Kev(vocals), Myler(skins), and Rich (guitar). We started playing gigs at Twisted Taco in midtown Atlanta where we met Special Ed (the newest addition on guitar). Then came Justin Myler on Bass. Uncle Myler is stoked to finally have bass in the band. We started doing covers, then brought in some originals. Since then then our originals have taken over. We have a lot of influences and have manged to somehow combine the best of what we like into songs that have melody, great lyrics, guitar driven, rock your balls off sounds that you dream about and sing out loud weeks after you hear them. Kevin bartends at a gastropub in midtown Atlanta, Myler is Food and Beverage Manager for a downtown Atlanta hotel, Rich has recently relocated to Caifornia(we wish him the best and miss him), we haven't yet figured out what Ed does, and Justin is a bartender and musician(the guy can play anything). We absolutely support local talent. Please feel free to approach us with opportunities to either support or play, we're happy to do both at the same time. Local Love Loud is working closely with several people to make some changes in this scene and to get more exposure for alot of bands. This is the first step in making that happen. these guys rock! i have had them at Leopard Lounge several times everytime they rocked it out. You should book theem if you can or at least go support them. rock out guys
