Michael Cerna - Me
Guitar-Drums-Bass-Keys-Sequenced Synths
Influences
Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Any Traditional Celtic Fiddle, Paganini, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Savatage, Alex Skolnick, Transatlantic/Neal Morse, way too damn many to list. Oh, actually, my favorite musician of all time HAS to be the guy that wrote all of the Final Fantasy Game series music. He deserves so much praise for the amount of creativity displayed in a little cartridge's sound rom. Just genius.
Sounds Like
I sound like me. Listen to my songs if you want a good example.
I've been playing guitar since I was a sperm. I love Ibanez guitars, progressive music in all its forms, females in all their forms, and technology. I am gearing up to release my own solo material in the next year. For now, check out my band Mindwarp Chamber (they are in my friends list).

Dude! ON the cover of a mag huh? I would have gone for one of those weird chord fingering 80's style photos 'cause it would be funny but Congratulations. When can I get the album? How are things?
Nah, but we gotta get together next time...or you can come out to visit if you want to. We've got a guest room... Check out the new one. Is the CD out?
Thanks! Have a great time :) I can't make the trip this year, waaaay too much going on at school. Have fun though, say hi to Bill Hudson's butt for me ;)
Hi Mike! Check out the coverage on METAL MERGENCE III.
This Month in Chicago's Rock...(spread the word!)
Hello!
Hope this finds you doing alright.
Just want to take a minute of your day to let you know that the August issue of CHICAGOSROCK...com is now online for your reading & viewing pleasure.
There are some new Rock Reports including one on the Metal Mergence Networking conference held in the city this past July and another with the up & coming band Two Ton Anvil. The Musician Spotlight is brand new and features legendary guitarist Mike Tafoya (formerly of the Boyzz of Illinois and the Bzz) sharing some basic tips on guitar playing and also with an exclusive performance. There are also a couple new entries to the “Word On The Street” blog that you may want to check out, in addition to an up-to-date Events Calendar, local rock news, our Chicago ’s Rock T.V. video update and more.
I hope you enjoy this new issue. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to hearing from you with any feedback or see you at a show sometime.
Remember we are also available now on Facebook, so if you have a Facebook account you can join our group. It’s Chicagosrock Facebook.
Have a great week!

Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian
rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style
unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking
for something new about Metal, you should check EletriKa out!
Thanks for the opportunity to join you on stage once again! You guys are always a blast to see in concert. Don't be a stranger, now. We need to hang out and talk shop again sometime soon!
