“To deem worthy; to require; balance”. When looking in the dictionary, these are the roots of the word Axiom, and these words all describe the veracious Madison trio known as Axiom.
Formed circa 2003, the band has grown a following of devoted fans across the U.S. who enjoy their unique fusion of raw energy, comedic antics, and passionate musical performances. Rarely do three individuals harmonize in synch as well as Jake Wheeler, who plays double duty as the band’s vocalist and guitarist, Justin Roettger on bass, and Dan Stoffels on drums. All three having come from various bands, they came together when the stars aligned perfectly, as if God himself hand-picked these three to deliver the world from the stale, unimaginative, excremental trite of the newest bubble-gum, cookie-cutter “talent” MTV seems to cram down the throats of today’s generation.
Taken to heart, the band believes that music should be fun, and anyone who’s ever been to a show leaves with a smile on their face. Anyone who has ever been to a show can tell you this:
If you haven't seen this yet, we were recently on Urban Theatre in Madison, WI and they have posted a few of the songs on their page. Here is a link to us performing "Fireflies" live on the show:
