axis everything is a studio only musical outfit. we make these songs for listening enjoyment, but mostly the enjoyment of writing and recording music. we surely hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoy recording them.
travis: professional artist, musician, owner of ameritribe productions, writing original music since 1991. once a member of Charleston's the Clean Air &Water project, other bands include: MadHatter [1991-1994], Spinning Jenny [1995-1996], Post Nola [1996], Brass Catherine [1997-1998], the Clean Air & Water project [1998-2000].
justin: playing guitar since 1994, writing music since 2002. electrician, musician. crafting his own style of guitar since 2003.
as of now, the brothers have recorded 4 independent albums at their home studio. in 2003 they recorded forest:alive, a colorful, albeit freshman attempt. in 2004 they recorded view the abstruse, a far more notable album locally, best known for its tracks 'snug as a bug' and 'shame'. this past session yeilded their best effort to date, the tree that falls down unheard, culminating the progress made thus far. justin and travis are currently working on a new album, title tk, and we hope you enjoy everything you hear here.
