(Does any band not sound like their influences? If so, how big of an influence are these bands? This question seems kinda stupid to me)
At this point we're not really trying to do anything new. Chances are, if you're here then you've already seen us. If not, we've got some songs for you to check out, lyrics, and hopefully soon enough we'll add some pics.
As for our scoop, from 2001-2005 we were a full-time band based out of central PA. We had 2 albums full of original songs and a cover list of about 60 songs, ranging anywhere from Sublime to Tool. We got to play at festivals with bands like Reel Big Fish, Violent Femmes, Jimmy Eat World, Goldfinger, Jimmies Chicken Shack, Local H, and a whole bunch of other cool bands that now make for some pretty good stories.
Anymore we just play at places that we know we'll have a good time. As fun as it was to travel everywhere and try new places, it got crazy stressful. So now chances are you'll really only see us in places like State College, PA, Put-In-Bay, OH, Cleveland, and maybe some random spots around Harrisburg.
As for new original material, individually we are writing new material, but most likely it will not be released under Axum. As soon as we get some new stuff, we'll definitely let you know where to get a hold of it.

So, I'm a tool. (Yes, Tim, I admit it!) For the longest time I didn't get that there was this site, and the axum buddy site, but both of them were "axum." So now I've befriended both, but who knows when I'll see the whole crew in person. Put-in-Bay does not suit those of us who have only 1 weekend night to party. "Bitches!"
