Gabriel Ayala, classical guitarist, is one of the up and coming musicians of his time. He received his Master of Music degree from the University of Arizona. Gabriel has taught in all levels of education from elementary to college which has helped him to become a leading pedagogue of the guitar. Gabriel performs extensively throughout the United States. In 2003, Gabriel released his self-titled debut CD and was nominated for the Native American Music Awards, otherwise known as, the NAMMYS for "Best Independent Recording." In addition to being a solo classical guitarist, Gabriel also promotes Native culture through traditional singing and dancing. Gabriel (Yaqui) is working on the production of two new CD's to be released in 2007.
Vince Redhouse (Navajo) began playing music at 6 years old. Vince attended the Academy of Arts/Humanities, a private music
school under the direction of German professor Axel Duwe.Vince is known as a saxophone jazz musician, as well as, the Native American flute.
Gabriel and Vince felt there was a good match between classical guitar and the native flute. The sound that both instruments convey is a melodic sound in which the guitar and flute mesh together. They are hoping to help break stereotypesd of native musicians linking them to a certain genre and wish to expand the classical repertoire, flamenco, contemporary and original compositions. Separately they are both well respected within their own fields.

Thank you for the invite. Your two styles blend together perfectly and you have created some very powerful and moving music. Please let me know when you have tracks available for sale.
Oh Gabe.....that music, the emotion you can feel and the heart that went into it. It is so beautiful. Words on a page like this can not fully express the pure pleasure it is to hear the tunes. The blends are perfect and Creator has blessed you, and us, with another way to listen to you. Please tell your flute player they touched my heart. Please let me know when there is a CD available. I want to be one of the first to have the pleasure of sharing it with many. Absolutely wonderful. Night Sky Watcher
