There are so many amazing artists who are inspiring. But I must say that the words and sounds of artists such as; Zeppelin, Radio Head, Modest Mouse, Sheryl Crow, White Stripes, Mars Volta, Damien Rice, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, U2, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Tegan & Sara, The Beatles, Muse, Etta James, Heart, REO speed wagon, Lucinda Williams, Tom Petty, Johney Cash, ...the list goes on and gets more random....yes...more random

Since Ayemo started writting and performing her own music; she has always had the desire to bring out many different styles of music. Her voice can carry the softness and youth of Lisa Loeb, but then the maturity and rawness of the early Sheryl Crow comes out from hiding. When you watch the way she plays rythm guitar on a choice few songs, you think "Jack Johnson Folk Rock." Other times you'll hear her vocals go crazy like Janis Joplin.
When you cant imagine where to place an artist and their sound, you'll just have to let your ears tell your brain,
"its just good."
Ayemo,
She's coming soon to a town near you, and if not, just drive like mad.
Like a truck load of TNT wrapped in the skin of a red headed guitar slinging diva, God created Ayemo and deemed her good. A raw flame and livewire of a performer, Ayemo has been electrifying audiences with her magnetic stage presence for over 10 years. The 24 year old began as a powerhouse drummer and transmuting into a stunning vocalist with no-holds barred energy that comes straight from the heart.
Ayemo's current incarnation is an alchemic blend of rock and undulating folk music. From her soul to her guitar come songs about anger and helplessness give way to inspiring vocals of hope and love. In 2005 Ayemo released her first E.P. 'Falling Star' with the support of producer Solo of the band The Listening. Falling Star delivered on all levels, a tidal wave of emotion backed by a knock-out band. In the summer of 2006 'ZO' was released. A purely acoustic collection of grooves produced by Aaron LaMere of The Blackstones. To fallow the release of 'ZO', Ayemo threw some musicians in a van and hit the road for her '06 Northwest tour with The Blackstones. In 2007, Ayemo brought out the darker side of her writting world with her ear coltivating demo "Zombie". Shorty after producing Zombie, Ayemo put a spin on her music carreer and sold her first jingle to The River Casino of Kelso, Washington. The jingle is currently playing on all northwest bi-costal media stations.
Determined and steadfast, Ayemo is supplying an ever-growing fan base with unforgettable performances, Ayemo still young and untamed holds her course into the future with grace, presence, and power.
Thanks for listening to them. No Relief was really fun to write. I need to find a way to get the remastered versions of those tunes up, especially No Relief, it is so much heavier now than it is on that recording.
So ayemo,
after reading your lil' tour bull'o'tin...I think you should probably call me Stê'phên from now on, instead of StE'phën, so you won't get it confused with Steven...aight?!
