Ayla was born in 1995. Created as a project of DJ Tandu. The first single was also called Ayla and with the Taucher Remix it was a clubhit all over the world. In the UK it was released on Positiva and entered the UK-Charts on position 22. It was also used by MC Donalds in the UK for a TV-Spot and not to forget the UK movie "Kevin & Perry"
In the beginning of 1997 the track Ayla Part II entered the German Sales Charts Top40. The track was produced together with Taucher and Torsten Stenzel. In the same year the remake of Cosmic Baby..s "Liebe" (produced by Tandu alone) was released and went directly on Position 1 of the German Dance Charts followed by a Top40 Position in the german sales charts.
The next Single Angelfalls was released November 1998 and was Top3 in the german Dance Charts for weeks. The Video was done at the "Iguacu-Waterfalls" in Brasil (for me the best Ayla Video). Angelfalls entered the german sales charts Top60.
In the Year 2000 the debut album Nirwana was released. It went Gold in Norway and Singapure.
