About me: Okay, so do you want to know me?
I'm AYM - I've been writing & performing poetry for three years now. I love slamming - it's the competitor in me - I've won 4 slams and I've got several runner-up spots too.
I'm making it my mission to get spoken word out there to a much wider audience - not my stuff - everyone's.
Okay, so some of my stuff ain't bad, but I've met loads of other people who, I'd have to say, are better than me - on both the performance and the writing side. Maybe if I was more focused....
Anyway, the way people have been trying to do it in the past would appear to be like flogging a dead horse. So me, I'm switching to a cow. Or a llama with stabilisers. Or just a really big ant - you know - REALLY big.
