Underground Hip-Hop acts
Many artists...they make me want to join in on celebrating & making good music. By no means would I bite an artist. But, they inspire me & fuel the fire to make music.
Born in raised in the South (Selma, Alabama), but now I'm on the West (Las Vegas, Nevada). I'm laid-back, mellow, cool-type fellow (c) Devin The Dude.
I love music, period. I listen to many genres, but mostly Hip-Hop. I'm more into Underground Hip-Hop. But, I like Trap Rap, Gangsta Rap. Not really into the Snap music, or the dances. No hate to the artists that excel in those areas. We all are better at certain things than others. I believe when it comes to everyday, "regular Joe", strugglin', bustin' ya ass, hustlin' just to survive...I'm the guy to hear.
I do it for fun, as I always say. But, the love I've been showing this year (2008) is givin' me motivation to pursue a career. I'm gonna take it slow. I don't mind gettin' on an independent label. But, I want to be on one that really gives me freedom, and I can get out there & go on tour. I have a job, but it would be amazing to make a living with something I love to do. I already have fun just doing it for a hobby at home. Imagine if I was in the studio, goin' on tours, gettin' paid, gettin' love & respect from it. I would be 100 times better, I'm sure. I have at least THAT much confidence in myself. I have punchlines, I'm slick with my bars. I'm laid-back, but at the same time, if you bring the drama, it's gonna bounce right back. I'm just a regular nigga. Plain & simple. I'm not THAT much into clubs & parties, but I like to have a good time. I don't mind doin' a lil' two step here & there.
I'm easy to get along with, in general. Also, I'm open to collabs, I also make beats. Also in my leisure, for fun. But, if any producers hear my music, like what they hear, hit me up. I'm not begging for anything. I'm willing to work to reach my goals. I'm willing to invest. Just give it a chance.
