About azchickswithpicks

We are an organization for women in music!!! Co-Founded by Pandy Raye and Rhonda Hitchcock. This is truly a movement, that has gained so much momentum in such a short period of time! We are simply 2 chicks with a vision, helping TALENTED women of all genres of music be heard. We want to provide a platform for "up and coming" female artists that showcase their talent in Arizona. (Eventually moving into other states as Chicks with Picks). The "Arizona Chicks With Picks" have showcases at various venues. Every Tuesday Night at the Buffalo Chip in Cave Creek, AZ, we feature a different Female artist 7pm-8:30pm. (with open auditions/jam afterward until 10pm). Most of these are acoustical, but we also have featured bands once a month! We also have monthly showcases on Wednesday nights, at Aunt Chilada's 5:30pm - 9pm. This will have 2- 3 different artists performing. Our Spring Festival on March 2nd, 2008 ... was a HUGE success! We are now working on our next festival to be held in March 09'. Our concept for the festivals will provide all day music by both "National artists" and our local "up & coming" artists! If you are interested in being a performer for Chicks With Picks, please contact us and/or come out on a Tuesday night! We also take the "Chicks" on the road to different venues, in different towns. We are always looking for more volunteers and sponsors for our festival. Please ask us how you can be a part of this awesome platform. CHICKS ROCK!!
