I am also interested in learning how to make videos...here are some I just made.
Music
Well I like techno music the most. I like the more mellow versions of it...mostly the kind with no words. It is awesome to make you feel relaxed or excited, you pick the mood by picking the song.
I also am into Christian music. Most of the music that I listen to with words is christian.
When I was a kid I always heard the oldies so I know most of them.
I could not tell you one song that is on the top 40 right now, I may have only heard a few of them, I don't listen to country music.
I think there is too much good music in this world to listen to bad music, most of what I listen to is not from the United States. Music is a very important part of my life.
Movies
I like the smart action movies. I loved the oceans 11 and 12 movies and Kill Bill.
I love movies about pulling off the perfect theft, maybe cause deep down I would love to do something like that but I never would because of my morals.
I like the movies about world politics, where people must save the world, and major changes happen, movies like Contact, The Peacemaker, The Interpreter, The Sum of All Fears, Saving Privat Ryan, and the Mission Impossible movies.
I love Sci-fi....like Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR, Matrix
I like any movie about the office of the President.
I like movies about smart people going though changes and finding their purpose and realizing how importat love is, like Good Will Hunting, Jerry Maguire, American Beauty, The Village
Movie I am most looking forward to is Serenity, based on the Firefly TV Show. Firefly seems to have the things I like all in one place.
Television
Well I like sci-fi. I wish they did not cancel Enterprise, that was a dang good show. Recently I like the flashy figure it out shows. CSI comes to mind. I also like that Las Vegas show, but it is a bit cheesy. Mostly I don't get to watch a lot of TV, only a few hours a week other than news.
Books
Well the Bible is the best book of course, the bread that feeds us. But I also like books that make me think about my potential and how to be a better person.
Heroes
Hmmm, I like people who have taken the risk and have resulted in a good reward. I bet most of them you have never heard of so I will not bother, but they really do inspire me.

My take - There is no perfect time to start. If you want to do something...learn what you need to learn and then apply the action. If you are afraid, so what? Feel the fear and do it anyway. Thats what successful people do...
