Azerate was formed as a one man project by Anton in Voronezh,Russia in 2007. After relocating to United Arab Emirates due to family reasons, the band already consisted of 4 members when Jhan(keybords), Amon(vocals) and Ahmed(drums) joined as full time members. Azerate became one of few bands in the country playing this style of music.In early 2008 the band released the first single titled "Vengeance for Victory" and currently working on an EP which will hopefully be recorded by the end of the summer.

October 29th, 2007, Covan (vocalist of DECAPITATED), was seriously injured in an accident which involved their tour bus while travelling to a show in Gomel,Belarus. Sadly this accident claimed the life of Vitek(drummer of DECAPITATED). Covan is still going thru a long and difficult recovery and needs our help.
