Born out of the melting pot of the UK’s Thriving metal scene in 2005 Azriel brings fresh scope to a scene than in recent years has seen the likes of Bring me The Horizon and Architects rise to fame.
Azriel, whilst taking influences from hardcore bands from the late 90’s and early millennium years like Poison The Well and Hopesfall the band have brought their own slant on the genre staying true to their roots and refusing to follow the current trends in todays music scene.
The band combines melodic chord sequences, Powerful leads and blistering breakdowns with raw and passionate vocals.
Having released an EP and a full length album through UK independent label Thirty Days of Night Records both to great reviews and having toured relentlessly throughout the UK supporting the likes of A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, Poison The Well, Shai Hulud, Himsa, 3 Inches of Blood, Parkway Drive, Bring me The Horizon, Architects, All Shall Perish, Gallows, Whitechapel, Walls of Jericho, and many more.
Azriel have received great press coverage in the national media through Kerrang, Rocksound and Metal hammer all giving their records fantastic reviews.
With a new album scheduled for recording and release some time in 2010 the sky is the limit for Azriel.
