I always end up telling people: imagine for one moment if the Beatles were not four guys, but one...and instead of playing Rock 'N' Roll, they wrote poetry. Well, that's Enzo, in a humble nutshell. Living Legend x4

About me:

Originally from Fresno, California, Enzo started writing lyrics when he was the frontman of various Seattle-based musical projects from 1998 to 2005. Now, with music aspirations on hold, he has taken up writing poetry full time, tackling various subjects and styles, all while maintaining his unique voice. Inspirations come from a wide array of sources: nature, mythology, faith, fatherhood, pop culture, Italian horror movies. Enzo’s style ranges from the darkly romantic and decadent surrealism, to horrific, gothic grotesquery; from ruminations various metaphysical questions, to straightforward zen-like musings and “napkin poems.” He learned early on that it is the image over the event, the how over the what, and the lost art of the title that makes poetry worth reading. Each and every poem has that distinct stamp to it, revealing a yearning by the author to leave an impression upon the reader. Enzo stands out as an original. His playful experimentation with the innate musicality of language showcases a distinct “ear” for detail. Never afraid to take on formal structures, or bend the rules altogether, the creative pathway is littered with aphorisms, acrobatic wordplay, black humor and a genuine love of language and sound. / One last thing...I was born on March Forth, beware the strides of march.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone with creative verve.
Anyone who appreciates the "darker" side of art
