URGENT: Cirque du Soleil is looking for a singer for a new show about Elvis and his musical heritage. The show will be based at the CityCentre theatre in Las Vegas, and will be directed by Vincent Paterson.
We are looking for a female singer with a rich, deep, alto or mezzo voice like Aretha Franklin. Great stage presence and charisma are essential, as well as an ability to move.
If you meet these criteria, please submit a video demo including the following songs:
1. One Night with You (Elvis) in E major 2. Suspicious Minds in C major 3. Chain of Fools (Aretha Franklin) preferably in the original key 4. 1 minute of a song of your choice, preferably gospel or soul
We want to see lots of energy and attitude. Have fun and show us how you would “wow” 1500 people.
