b4film e' un progetto per realizzare piccoli film in maniera artigianale e analogica. dove per analogico si intende l'uso della pellicola e di macchine che fanno ancora dei bei rumori quando si muovono. niente contro il digitale. ma b4film ha lo spirito romantico dei tempi andati e si attacca con emotivita' partecipata a quello che fu.
b4 film sostiene e partecipa al Fronte di Resistenza Analogica. chi vuole donare pellicola scaduta, usata, dimenticata ricevera un entusiastico grazie.

Analoge Widerstandsfront (Fronte di resistenza Analogica) nasce tra Berlino, Lepzig e Hannover.
E' un movimento informale costituito da filmmakers indipendenti e sotterranei che rivendicano l'utilizzo e la sopravvivenza di mezzi analogici per fare cinema, come le vecchie cineprese e proiettori 16mm e super8.
Il fronte analogico chiama a raccolta e invita alla resistenza!

Analoge Widerstandsfront (analogue resistance front) was born in Germany between Berlin, Lepzig and Hannover.
It's an informal movement, created by filmmakers who fight against the disappearance of analogue film technology, like 16mm and super8 cameras and projectors. The movement was born to keep alive the memory and use of analogue cameras, films and sound recorders. It ecourages the experimental use, authorial and amateur documentation of light and emulsion.
It is not against digital technology or modern means of film production, it's a form of resistance against the exaggerated technological consume dictated by the market.
It was also born to recycle what is thrown away, old cameras, expired film, found footage. It's open to experiments and new ideas.
The editing, for the pure and lucky ones, is done by hand on the good old film viewer but digital editing and digital diffusion (internet, dvd) won't harm the cause and are the norm.
