BIOGRAPHY /> Leroy "Baarbe" Romans was born in Kingston/Jamaica in the year 1969. He became very curious about the music profession in his early teens. He began music lessons on the flute in high school and continued to excel as a teenager. Music became Leroy,,s sanctuary from many troubled environments all around him. Doing so landed him scholarships in Flute and Vocals at the Jamaica School of Music. Leroy later teamed up with a friend from the same Music College who received an offer to perform with a band in Barbados where he lived for over three, plus years. During that period he taught himself to play the keyboards with the knowledge he acquired while attending college. This was the beginning of something special in his professional music career. After Barbados, he returned home to Kingston/Jamaica and was embraced by the music industry there. Leroy has since worked with many well-known artists and groups such as the extensive list below. At that time Leroy had fine-tuned his skills as keyboardist, vocalist, performer and Producer. Leroy "Baarbe" Romans has taken his years experiences and transcended into a Multi-talented extra ordinary individual. He,,s done movie sound tracks for several movies and has also work with The Heat, the owners of Blockbusters/Miami Dolphins and the Miami Dolphins themselves. He has developed himself into a well-respected Grammy Nominated Producer, Songwriter, Musician and all his other well received talents and services (Vocalist/Composer/Arranger/Programmer/Engineer/Artist Developer/Vocal Couch and Motivator). After touring for several years in the 90s playing and collaborating with many legends of the entertainment industry, he decided to spread his wings even wider with his vision and drive of becoming more than just a master of the art of music but also to contribute to the great legacy and history of music, by creating and building an empire of the arts on a global level.
