Hi everybody..We're BABE AND THE SHAKERS. We've been together for 7 great years We took some time off last year and are ready to tear the place up. We play Classic Rock, Blues and whatever else strikes our fancy. We have fantastic members in our band and have been together since Shakers a club that use to be on 8th street here in Topeka. It was a jam session and we were all keepers.We were known as THE BLUES BUMS AND A BABE. We have Babe(Annie) bass and vocals: Lightn'Ike Mellow Lead guitar and vocals : Bill "Sir Harmonikat" Thompson Harps, vocals and percussion; And John "Fitz" Fitzgerld our fantastic drummer.
We like to have fun, fun, fun and have a great time and play our Rock and Roll. Every once in awhile we like to get a fan or two on stage to do a tune or two. We've played all over, in Topeka, Lawrence, Council Grove and several times at Harrahs Casino, uptown in Topeka and brown bag concerts and benefits.
We do Classic Rock, Rock,Bluz,and lots of rockin' originals.
