Babes for a Cure began just as a small group of friends who wanted to be a part of the Komen National Race for the Cure in 2005 but who knew everything that would be in store for us. We have grown from 13 to 50 participants in four years and have raised over $17,000 for breast cancer research and education. We have held successful fundraisers and continue to be featured in the Washington Post's Weekend Guide. Babes for the Cure sets the bar higher and higher each year and will continue to grow and go above and beyond their goals.
