Baboon Ass the world's only self-tribute band is Nigel Van on vocals, and Billy Bob Bonson on the still strang git-box.
Hailing from the magical towns of Manchester, England and Detroit, Texas the band has created a distinct brand of comedy, folk, and punk rock that has audiences everywhere crying into their drinks. Whether these are tears of joy is anyone's guess, and the Baboons don't really care to be perfectly honest with you.
So if you down for a giggle and some good tunes, The Ass is the band for you. If not, then you're most likely a humorless git, and we wouldn't want you listening to our music anyway. Wanker.
Thanks for being on our friend's list, YOU rock!! If you haven't already come check out the tunes on our page...Sure we're a bit cocky and we can't stop droppin f bombs but we write str8 from the heart!!!..lol

Don't know if you are above this or not but, I'm hosting 15 MINUTES OF FAME - a FULL BAND (or solo!) Open Mic - and I would love it if you came to play! It starts on Wednesday Feb 27th, runs from 8 to Midnight (sign-up at 7:30) & is at Kenny's Castaways (157 Bleecker).
Come out if you're around - I haven't seen you do your thing yet!
Hey, we put 3 songs from our upcoming 4 song EP for download on our myspace page. We would have put all 4, but the last one is too long to be uploaded at any reasonable quality level.
