I actually played your entire playlist of work while I got ready tonight and I have to tell you, the more I listen to your work as a BODY of work, the more I love your unique style and cool, swaggering delivery! I love the new track and I realized every time I listen to the older tracks I hear something new. 'America Swings' just gets better with every listen. 'Trip' is waaay cool. What you say is hip and groovy in a new century way. It's the best of a grooving Doors sound yet has a sound all it's own. The words have a message, and it is one of grasping what matters NOW- with no time to waste (we will never be this age again, you declare so well!) I'm going back to listen again.
Ah, Babs! I don't have the space to listing every technical innovation the Ernie Kovacs Show gave television (most of which we take for granted), but I will mention the most important: His tech crew figured out how to do the chroma key for television, aka "green screen." Next time you see an image imposed on another on television (including the blue news scroll across the bottom of a screen), remember Ernie Kovacs.
Hey its the weekend!!!!!! Have a beer, stick some rockabilly on the jukebox but most of all have yourself a ROCKIN' TIME. Be Lucky mate... PS Kick John in the arse and say hi from me too
