Baby Jane are poisoned. They don't write songs; they chop the meat off one another wherever they see the poison. The poison doesn't fade, the flesh doesn't die but instead turns into sound.
Music is pretty-polished/sheeny/nice. Baby Jane is cheap-o/basement-box/dusty grimy/rude. A welcome return to ramshackle was required via a creepy blend of blues/post-punk/sleaze/rockabilly/baroque 'n' roll. It smells more than it sounds. Drink Baby Jane and you'd spit them back out.
A fasination for horror movies and a sense of kinky fun in parallel to David Lynch, think The Everly Brothers get The Cramps at Nico's backdoor. Just three dirty boys and one dirty girl howling at the moon on a back-porch in the Eastend of Glasgow.

Good evening! I'll be starting a tour in the UK next week, and wanted to let you know.
You may have heard my guitar playing and not even realized it was me. I played with Buddy Holly, and when you listen to "It's So Easy" or "Heartbeat"...well, that is me.
We will play some of the Buddy Holly songs that i played on so many years ago, and a few more! I might even sing a couple.
I hope you can make one of the dates?
Best,
Tommy Allsup
Hope the sun is shining on you up there in Scotland. I'll be coming over there in June for three shows. We play St. Andrews, Edinburgh, and Irvine (near Glasgow) Come out and say hello if you can?
Tommy Allsup
Hi sweety - thanks for being part of WakentheDeads World - I hope you are having a great summer. Stop by and say hello sometime, make sure to subscribe to my photoblog and mailing list for future updates on my work. I like to personally keep up to date with all of my friends list, so let me know how you are!
I blame the bambinos for me turning into a fat ride! Jiving at your gigs was the only exercise i got, now i'm such a disgusting fat body if i jump in the air i get stuck!
You think you can just split up?
We're having none of it - we will fuse you back together with cyber-electronics into a giant psychobilly robot and you will play fantastic music and kick over buildings and rescue kittens from trees...
(possibly just in my head)
Good luck with any new music projects - but 'bah' and 'harumph' to no more BabyJane gigs...
Damn! Just figured out this Myspace thing too - I'll have to find someone else to stalk electronically! Anyway, hope youse'll all find other outlets for your various poisoned choppings, good luck with whatever follows...
WHAAATTTT????!!!
Why do most cool Glasgow bands split up??? ...probably 'cos this town sucks if you've got a soul & wanna play honest rock'n'roll.
Anyways, please don't be strangers & lerrus know if you get anything else on the go.
All the Best....Jim (& the other Monkeys)
