BabyPaul is an internationally known record producer who has been in the music industry for over 10 years. As part of the hip-hop production crew Da Beatminerz, he produced records over the years for the Boot Camp Click- Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun, Heltah Skeltah, O.G.C.
Upon separating from Da Beatminerz in 2001 he's worked with artists like NaS, AZ, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Remy Ma, The Outlaws, Olivia, Angie Stone, & many others.
Over the years Paul has built strong relationships thruought the music industry with various artists, producers, A&Rs, engineers, managers & is constantly developing relationships with new up & coming talent ranging from unsigned artists, songwriters, music & film producers.
In 2007, Paul released a pet prjct called "ThrowBack City"-
(Available NOW on I-Tunes) which is an instrumental album representing his assorted tastes from underground hip-hop, to r&b, to pop..
Paul's extensive resume will now add "aspiring actor" & "label CEO" in 2008.
As an actor he is featured in 2 independent films, "Soulful"- (Available NOW on DvD via Koch distribution) & "Ex$pendable"- (pending release), the latter which he contributed to the film's music score.
As CEO of his label, Divine Order Ent. aka "D.O.E." established in 2006,
Paul has been developing of variety of artists to release into the market.
Paul's 1st signee upon starting his label was Amil, formerly of Rocafella recs
& released a mixtape called, "Amil Returns", available for FREE download at: www.hiphopgame.com
Amil also featured on the song, "A-Game" for AZ's album, 'Undeniable" released in 2008 on Koch recs.
Paul also signed a classic hip-hop artist from Detroit named Illite, who has a mixtape generating rave reviews available for FREE download at: www.kicsounds.com
Paul has also been a developing a southern hip-hop/reggae artist from
West Palm Beach/Miami Fla. named Mikey Bloodshot, who's been blazing
the streets & the internet with various mixtapes, most notably the
"Pimp My Radio" series hosted by Brooklyn's own, Dj Nu (Papoose affiliate)
Mikey Bloodshot has a street album, "Million Dollar Dreams" coming in 2010.
Paul has also tapped into the rock music genre by collaborating with pop/rock
band, Fatkid Dodgeball from Columbus, Ohio.
this four man band has a single called "Favorite Fix" currently generating radio spins, & an album called "Admission of Guilt" coming in 2010.
Paul is currently working with AZ on his next album for 2010, "Doe or Die2"
which is sure to be a certified classic among true hip-hop fans.
