Pascale LaPorte is a teacher who is now a stay at home mom. She began writing songs because of her love for music and because she wanted to express her love to her babies, 4 year old son Julian, and twins Timothy and Tayla now 23 months old.
Pascale is a naturally gifted vocal artist. The soft tender tones of her voice, combined with her experience as an educator, allow her to teach and touch the lives of babies and young children through the gift of music. She believes that early exposure to positive language and images through music is one way of promoting improved brain development, verbal skills, and intelligence in children as young as 3 months old.
A daughter of the West Indies, Pascale was born in Haiti and speaks fluent French. She grew up in a family where songs and singing were an everyday part of her upbringing, and began singing and acting in church performances before the age of 6.
In 1984, Pascale’s joined her family in the United States and settled in East Orange, NJ where she completed her primary education. She later went on to attend Kean University in Union, NJ. While at Kean University, she studied music for two years prior to graduating with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication.
Pascale is guided by a close spiritual relationship with God and has always tried to make a difference in people’s lives by sharing her gifts and talents.
