This we know...the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected, like blood which connects one faith. Who ever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life, he is mearly a strand in it. What ever he does to the web, he does to himself.- Chief Seattle 1854

I GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!!!
..
I listen to just about everything except Rap. I also have gotten away from negative, wallowing in my own grief and piss music that I was oh so drawn to as a teenager. Hell, I am happy now so I have no use for it. My fav. bands use to be Skinny Puppy and Depeche Mode. I still ocassonially listen to the later. I like Loreena McKennitt, Enigma, Delerium, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Tori Amos, Poe, U2, Live, Days of the New, Moby, Candlebox, Dead Can Dance, Type O Negative, White Zombie-Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, The Cure, REM, ACDC, ZZ Top, and Skynard to name a few.
Movies
My fav. movie would have to be Fight Club. I also love The Lord of the Rings, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Company of Wolves, Phi (as in the mathamatical ratio), Smoke Signals, Goonies, Lost Boys, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Toy Story and the begining of Troy....go figure.
Television
Yuck, I hate to admitt I even watch it but alas.... CSI, Prison Break (for the guys), 24, Law and Order, Bones, Criminal Minds, and NCSI. If I had cable it would probably stay on the History Chanel.
Books
..
Uhhhh, I LOVE books so it would be hard to list them all. Any thing by William Blake, Edgar Allen Poe, and Nietzsche. Man Corn by Cristy Turner and The Book of Hopi by Frank Waters. The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tsu. Almost all of my research books on the Celts, all 40+ of them! Alot more.
Heroes
Bodicca, the Celtic Queen who destroyed Roman London, Christy Turner for standing up to the historical bureaucrats, all those soldiers who died defending our country and our beliefs, my children who continue to teach me pure love for life. Carol Shelby, for the manufacture of the Shelby Cobra and his later influence with the Cobra Mustang. The Native South Americans who first invented chocolate. My father for his great intelligence and stories. My mother, for being mother.

About me: "Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."-Talmud, a record of rabbinic discussions pertaining to Jewish law, ethics, customs and history.

We Shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will e to arrive at where we started and know that place for the first time.- TS Eliot
Who I'd like to meet:
Guy wise Mathew Maconahay, Brad Pitt, Vin Diseal, Brendan Fraser but that's all for personal reasons. I would also like to meet Johnny Depp 'cause he just seems like such a fasinating and creative guy. Christy Turner for his studies on Canabilism in the Southwest. Barry Cunliffe, Miranda Green, Dr Peter Reynolds, Margert Guido, Francis Pryor, and Peter Berresford Ellis for their studies on the Celts. I would love to pick their brain! Frank Waters, to learn more about the Hopi. I would love to pose, now that I have meat on my bones, for Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Edgar Allen Poe and William Blake. I respect Chief Joseph of the Nez Perces. I would also like to study under Lao Tsu and Budda.
I can see that - So far he's getting to be more fun as he gets older. Thanks for the compliments - I've heard everything as to who he looks like - me, James, both - when he was first born he looked like a mini-James, haha!
A mother's love they always say Is not a thing to go away She calls to mind your time within That private bond beneath the skin. She treasures to her dying day Your special looks, your special ways Delighting in your goals achieved And comforting for things you've grieved.
"You only have one mother" is true So give this lady her rightful due. Her sage advice, her wisdom great, And if at some far distant date Her mind may dim and frail she be Remember days upon her knee. She taught you well, from her you learned Now carry her, it is your turn.
Remember love in all its forms But most of all from love we're born The bond, the sweetness ever there The special bond that is so rare A love that spans both time and space A love shared by each country, race. So come now, praise to mother-love It is but one step from above.
How was your guys TN Christmas this year? And what is this about a billion gallons of 'sludge' oozing out across the state? A Billion gallons of Sludgy Christmas fun sounds as good as a Delta UT Christmas. Hope all is well ou there!
Thanksgiving is not a once a year event, but a daily assessment of all that we have to be grateful for... May you always know many reasons for Thanksgiving! Wishing you and yours Great Peace, True Love and Hope Eternal, this week and Always!!! <3 Fran
