Welllll... if I didn't know better (and I don't), Id say I'm one of the few to whom the meaning of life is no great mystery. It's to love. Love God, love others, love life. Dag nammit, it's not rocket science, stop making it more complicated than it is.
People sometimes tell me I'm the most open minded Christian they know, as if Christians are a bunch of narrow minded freaks who have never considered anything else... What tha? How narrow minded are ya if you believe the world was created in six days and one Perfect Bloke was killed once for all the bad stuff YOU did so YOU could live forever?
I think what they really mean is that I'm the first Christian they've met who will openly give it some thought when they challenge my beliefs. Cos I have already had it proven that what I believe will hold true in the end. Now THAT, my friends, is narrow minded!

I am known on Gold Coast radio station 107.3 Life FM as Dangerous Dean, where I do the Lifeword segment. Listen in at around 7:30am, 2:30pm, and 9:30pm weekdays for some juicy and hopefully crap-free & easy-to-relate-to Biblical action. And now I'm also back in The Shed on a Friday night from 7 to 10 for the Shed Overrated. Woo, overrated, like most stuff I do...
My day job, bread and butter, and passion though, is supporting people with disabilities to do the stuff they can't do alone. They have the same thoughts, feelings, hopes and dreams as the rest of us, it's just that their body limits how much they can follow through on it all. Despite the physical boundaries, communication boundaries, and occasional intellectual boundaries (MY lack of intellect being the boundary!), I still consider some of these guys my best friends, simply cos they don't pretend to be anyone they're not. They can't afford to. I honestly don't think we can either, we just don't realise it - that's our disability.
Do you ever get the feeling we take it all a bit too seriously?
I have an unhealthy obsession with the word "pants".

I am still coming to terms with the fact that people are only human and we will let each other down.
I am completely and utterly an eye man. Which is good, cos I'm allowed to stare at them. But if you have a big smile I'll stare too.

It really annoys me when people say "You have a lot of time on your hands, don't you" cos someone has done something they can't.
