The Legendary Late 80's Columbia SC band Bachelors of Art recorded Descend Again at the earliest site of The Jam Room on North Main ST. in mid 1988. The release of Descend Again established the band as the center of the local underground music scene for years to come. After packing clubs the next four years Bachelors of Art played their final show in 1992.In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the legendary Jam Room recording studio the record is being released for the first time on CD.Sadly the original master tapes didn't survive and the new CD had to be mastered from a 20 year old cassette.
Many great bands fail to inspire me as much as BOA has. This/BOA is the corner of my life that I smile at -every time. Thanks for being, Eddie (RIP), Jay, Robin, Tom, And Robbie/Blake Liles.
truly a great show last week, y'all...it was just like old times--except nobody was wearing black leather or dark eye makeup. I still have my own 20-year old cassette copy of "Descend Again," and a This Tribal Courthouse LP, too...

Had an amazing time last night.You guys were just as awesome as you were in the 90s. And Descend Again has taken up permanent residency in my CD player.
