Born on a cold Febuary Morning. Shocked into life by the bitter taste of car fumes and old cigarette smoke, brought up on a diet of broken biscuits. Looking for something. Not sure what.
Oh Hang about there it is.
About the Music: Wouldn't wanna bore ya with the details. Let's just say that it's all very mysterious. It's made in the middle of the night by little elves with cute little hats and funny shoes. Some have beards, some don't.
'There is no pop idealism involved in the music of Back Bone Shiver. So damn modest too! Ideas launched from an Untidy Mind just trying to untangle the confusion. Have you ever been to a concert and seen someone just off in a corner dancing to the beat of his own drummer? That's what this music sounds like. The songs are constructed like a little kid playing with Lego. It's just gonna work no matter how you stack em'. - Illmedia

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!
Banging gig coming up... The Kayas are supporting the mighty Twisted Wheel on 5th DEC at Gibsons in Oswestry / Shropshire.. Get your tickets online at www.seetickets.co.uk or www.ticketline.co.uk.. Were buzzin about the gig with 400 tickets already sold .... Lets Av It!!! theres plenty more gigs like this in the pipeline for next year...
