- Il progetto Backjumper nasce nel Gennaio 2003 con la line up originaria.
- Si inizia a sviluppare un proprio sound anche grazie ad una massiccia attività
live che li aiuta a crescere sotto ogni aspetto.
- Nel Dicembre 2003 viene registrata la prima demo, "Alter Ego",
che rappresenta tutto quello che la band è stata nel suo primo anno di vita.
- Nel Agosto 2005 il cantante originario abbandona la Band e pochi mesi dopo,
ad Ottobre, viene sostituito da paCMan alla voce.
- Il lavoro si fà sempre più serio e la nuova line up dà vita a Luglio 2006, "Trust No1".
- L'attività live però non si è mai fermata,
e grazie alla massiccia promozione fatta a "Trust No1" i Backjumper vengono in contatto con l'etichetta Killer Pool Records.
- Ad Aprile 2008 registrano il loro primo album ufficiale, "Across The Deadline",
presso i Subsound Studios di Roma con Victor Love (Dope Stars Inc.),
che verrà rilasciato a inizio 2009.
Il mastering è stato affidato a John Golden @ Goldenmastering Studio (Faith No More, Neurosis, Primus), in Ventura, California, Usa.
- The Backjumper project borns in January 2003 with the original line up.
- The band begins to develop its own sound with the help of an untiring live activity that helps the band growing up under every aspect.
- In December 2003 was recorded the first demo, "Alter Ego",
that represent all that the band had been in its first year of life.
- In August 2005 the original singer leave the band and some after some months, in October,paCMan
join forces with the others and became the new singer.
- The works gets more serious and the new line up give birth to
"Trust No1", in the July 2006.
- The live activity never stops,
and thanks to the massive promotions for "Trust No1" Backjumper gets in touch with the rome-based record label Killer Pool Records.
- In April 2008 the band recorded its first official album, "Across The Deadline",
in the Subsound Studios, Rome, with Victor Love (Dope Stars Inc.),
that will be released in the late 2008 / beginnings of 2009.
The mastering was made by John Golden @ Goldenmastering Studio (Faith No More, Neurosis, Primus), in Ventura, California, Usa.
