Candlelight Records confirms the completion of the final recordings from black metal legends Emperor. Titled Live Inferno, the special live series features various releases recorded/filmed during the bands sold out 2005-2007 reunion performances. Several formats will be available including a 2cd/slip case with 16-page booklet, a limited edition box featuring 2 cds & dvd with an enhanced 24 page booklet, a single dvd, and two limited edition double-vinyl gatefold sets. April 20 is set as the European release date for the series. The audio aspect of the Live Inferno series features exclusive recordings from the bands headlining performances at Norways Inferno Festival and Germanys Wacken Open Air Festival. Each recording will be pressed as individual double-vinyl sets; the first pressing limited to 1000 on black vinyl with any additional pressings in varied colors selected by the band. A special gold-vinyl seven-inch limited to 2000 titled Thus Spake the Nightspirit (featuring a live rendition of the bands famed song from the album Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk with a live recording of Inno A Satana from the album bands popular In the Nightside Eclipse album on the b-side) will be pressed and released via the labels official webstores beginning February 16.

Since these humble beginnings Enslaved have gone from strength to strength and this year (2008) in support of their new album they completed a 50 date European tour, received a multitude of top score reviews and places in critics albums of the year. The new album Vertebrae is musically speaking with it's black metal meets prog sound quite far removed from the sound on this Enslaveds debut but the seeds of future experimentation can be heard in this Viking metal gem.

Thank you for having replied my comment! Like i said on my previous comment, it would be a dream to have Eternal Nightmare & Opressing the Masses in my hands on vinyl! I know for a fact that it is very hard to find on vinyl any of those records and i've seen them on ebay but at high prices. And Your vinyl editions are of such high quality, that it would be a great adiction to your catalogue.
I hope that you guys can buy those rights to re-edit those records because they are in my opinion two of the most violent Thrash records ever made.

It's really great that you are re-releasing such classics again on vinyl, it would be great if you could also re-release Eternal Nightmare and Opressing the Masses by Vio-lence, they're a great Thrash band from the mid eighties that still have a lot fans, and to have those 2 records in vinyl, it would be a dream come true to me and i'm sure for many others around the world! If you don't know the band,please check them out, because Eternal Nightmare for example is one of the best Thrash Albuns ever, it trully is an underground classic!!

Dear Friends, Well, it's been six months since my abdominal surgery, and finally the music is starting to flow again. I've written two new songs "Bridge Of Shadows" and something a little different for me called "Looking Glass Man"...my first song using a Strat. I've never owned a Stratocaster before, was always a Les Paul guy (still am). But my wife promised me a new Strat if I just acted brave; and survived the surgery of course. I guessed the Fender would influence me in some "twangy way", but I never imagined it would be a Johhny Cash way, (not that I'm complaining, always kind of liked him).
