Backslide Records was founded in late 2006 by SWAMP producer Martin Erbler and Jens Damgaard in Düsseldorf. Influenced by the sounds of hiphop, funk, soul, jazz and electronic breaks the label already gained much respect from djs and producers around the globe. When moving their homebase to Wuppertal in 2008 the team expanded with Kolja Starkowski joining the clique.
Their artist roster skips through many directions: Soul Soda, Napz and MC Kelz to name a few were already releasing with labels like Jalapeno, Stereo Deluxe, Grand Central or Rotax. Others like Torpedotrickser, Comping and Mash & Munkee will be big in future for sure. Expect fresh styles with a soulful attitude heading to dancefloors and livingrooms.

Soul Soda _Soulsoda released several EP's and 12 inches on Stereo Deluxe Records since 1999. Beside tons of radio and tv-plays their tracks are on about 30 compilations around the world spreading from europe, us to japan. Recently they are working on some quite fresh new releases on Backslide Records. Remember Friday 2x7" EP is out! - Full length Album in progress!
Napz _Napz - Several outings on Jalapeno, Rotax or Innvision for this talented beatbrother set the tone. On Backslide he will showcase his more moody downtempo side. Expect some deep diggin sunday groovers from this buddy. Headz up! EP OUT / FALL 2008!!!
Torpedotrickser _Torpedotrickser - Funky Breaks inna real party mode - These guys will tear up dancefloors round the globe. Check their debut EP - QUITE SOLD OUT!!!!!!
Mash & Munkee _Two funky brothers producing funky ass beats! Stunning debut 12" "Wake Up" OUT NOW on Backslide. Also watch out for their remix appearances of Mr Confuse, Tal M Klein & more !
MKB Producer Martin Erbler is one half of Backslide Records and the man behind "my kitchen best". From hiphop to electronic dancefloor funk there's no borders in MKB's productions. Big Dada, Swamp or recent works with MC Kelz are just some of his stations yet. Big things to come!

FINALLY!!! The live video of Mr. Confuse & The Confusers playing at the Mephisto Club in Hannover Germany on 27th September 2008 is ready. It was the album release concert of the Mr. Confuse album “Feel The Fire” released on Légère Recordings as DLP, CD and digital in September 2008.
