The ‘BACKSTREETBOYSTOTALRUDEGHETTODANCINGCLUB‘, or ‘BSBTRGDCLUB’ for short, are Propro and Jillijill from Montreal. Though quite new to producing music and DJing, they have done their share of remixes, including one for Baille funk greats Bonde do Role and have many more in the works.
You may be asking, ‘What’s with the ridiculously long name anyway?’ Here’s what they say about that:
''The concept of the name is that we want to keep producing and DJing…but if we go commercial or mainstream, people would most likely not be able to pronounce or remember our name. It’s like hiding our faces/identity with a mask, sort of like ‘anti-marketing’.'' If that idea works or not we’ll have to wait and see.
