BackTalk Magazine is an online magazine for teens and young adults in Ohio. BackTalk is a general interest publication that showcases state events and features a wide variety of articles, creative writing, and artwork by its readers. BackTalk Magazine also exposes Ohio youth to important issues, gives them the opportunity to express their opinions, and provides a venue for individuals of different backgrounds to interact.
BackTalk Magazine was created during the summer of 2004, in order to serve a group that is underrepresented in Ohio media outlets---the youth. After receiving a grant from the Civic Innovation Lab later that year, the website was launched in January 2005. It has been featured in Cleveland area news, including WVIZ's Ideas and Romona's Kids on WKYC.
Who I'd like to meet:
Youth writers, photographers, designers, musicians, activists, athletes, fashionistas, dancers, future politicians, actors, etc. that would like to be featured in Ohio's premier magazine for teens and young adults.Details
