Joe Vargas has assisted in business expansion for quite some time now in a broad spectrum of industries. At the age of 19 (1998) he began his career in the United States Navy. He began his Naval career as a Machinist Mate and worked his way out the engine of the ship to move topside and cross-rate over to becoming a Operations Specialist 2nd Class. After serving 5 years on board the USS Coronado, Joe was fortunate enough to transfer to Las Vegas in 2003 to Nellis Air Force base to work with the Naval Reserves while still on active duty the last 3 years of his term. Joe got out of the Navy in August of 2006 with an Honorable Discharge.
In just the past few years, he has done an array of business consulting, special event coordinating/managing, ran his own entertainment radio show in 2005, owned Boogie Down Clothing, VIP hosted, and ran multiple promotions across the valley and became very in touch with the philanthropic side of his city. His first major role in the nightclub scene came with the launching of the first Ultimate Nightclub Charity Experience inside Empire Ballroom, Las Vegas in 2005. In time, while learning the Las Vegas nightlife trade and moving up the ladder, Joe began Vegas United (A non profit group to bring local Vegans together who either work in the nightlife industry or enjoy the party aspect of the nightlife as well as many local parents and families who enjoy giving back to their community of those in need - www.vegasunited.org). Joe has also coordinated and managed events and ran his own promotion teams at many locations such as: Empire Ballroom, Tao Nightclub, Foundation Room, Bare Pool and CatHouse to name a few.
In the beginning of 2007, Joe found a dead end road in what looked like a promising path. He made an announcement that he would retire from his nightlife duties and seek other opportunities. Joe became a sales and marketing director for a print shop. Within this time, Joe was introduced to a church and within a matter of time, found god. He went forward with getting baptized at Truth Christian Ministries and it made him clear as to what his dreams were to do. With this new sense of direction, Joe realized he belonged in the entertainment industry. Upon realizing what made him happy outside of spending time with his 2 beautiful children, he made the decision to return to the Las Vegas nightlife with a different frame of mind and a clearer sense of his surroundings. In the end of 2007, Joe left the print shop and became a full time independent VIP host and in 2008 began his own VIP hosting company.
In the year 2008, Joe began MyVegas Entertainment Group. Through his business contacts he is now working as a business owner and continues to throw special events and perform VIP services for many clients that include A-List Celebrities, pro athletes and top 40 music artists. In December of 08, Joe and his promotional team joined Prive' Nightclub inside Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Joe also felt the need of something different in Vegas and decided to develop the very first Las Vegas based website that centers around VIP services for all the go-to pools around the valley. Till this date, Joe proves time and time again he is one of the hardest working individuals in the Las Vegas entertainment industry and amongst the ups and downs he has overcome, he is primarily an ambitious go-getter who let’s nothing stand in his way to get what he wants accomplished. Mr. Vargas is a team leader and has an undeniable aptitude for creating the strongest team.
All in all, Joe has been successful because he utilizes what he has learned in the past and implements the positive aspects of each lesson with integrity and passion in everything he does.

Problem: There is a lack of education about the needed help in Las Vegas. The issue is very apparent but it seems that people are afraid of the problem and overlook it because of the lack of education of both the circumstance and also the solution.
Why? As we started to look into the philanthropic crisis in Las Vegas, the way we viewed the issue started to change as we became more educated. We realized if more people experienced the same education we did on the problem, we would be one step closer to a solution. The only way that we can tackle this problem is by shifting energy towards finding a solution and providing another philanthropic avenue, specifically targeting patrons on the streets and children who need help, where the problem is widely apparent.
