~~~~~THE BANDS~~~~~
Twelvestep
Hailing from Halmstad, Sweden - Twelvestep is a name to remember. Formed in 2004 as a side project, the journey has taken them to release a highly anticipated debut album in 2008. From world famous producers to touring with Bullet for My Valentine, prepare for the Twelvestep story!
With wall shaking riffs and vocals filled with anger and emotion, Twelvestep brings you their interpretation and view on the world and every day issues. They formed in 2004 as a side project, consisting of already well established musicians from other Swedish rock and metal bands.
Very soon they discovered that this was their call, and started recording their first demos on their own. After selling thousands of copies of their two first demos, they were approached by Pure Rock Entertainment, and ended up signing a deal with them.
Their debut album “Worst Case Scenario” is produced and mixed by world famous producer Rickard Bengtsson, known for his work with bands like Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars, Opeth and Mortis.
Twelvestep are famous for their extremely energetic live performances. Venues are sold out when they play, because people know it will get wild. They are also one of few bands that actually brings their fans with them when they perform out of the country. They have, on several occasions, brought busloads of fans when performing in Denmark.
Their energetic live performances caught the attention of The Agency Group, who put them on the Scandinavian tour with U.K. based metal band Bullet For My Valentine. They received rave reviews from fans and press, and they were all wondering the same thing: Where did these guys come from?
After only a couple of months on MySpace, the band had thousands of friends. Nowadays they have tens of thousands of friends, with people adding them daily, and asking when they will visit their city. Pure Rock Entertainment has uploaded 6 songs on MySpace, and the fans are loving it!
Their debut album “Worst Case Scenario” was released Feb 21, 2008, and is available through their label, iTunes worldwide, and most major digital networks in USA, such as Rhapsody, Amazon, eMusic etc.
Twelvestep are currently available for booking and licensing. Contact us for more information.
Can you imagine a crossover between the sound of In Flames and System of A Down? Then you will have a picture of their sound, but only a picture, cause you really have to listen to them in order to understand that their music is a whole new experience! - Nikos Parastatidis Behind The Veil
Unheard Concept is a mainstream hard rock band from Richmond, VA. We believe whole heartedly that music should be about making sure that the fans are having just as much fun as we are onstage... and we have A LOT of fun onstage. Unheard Concept blends elements of mainstream rock with surprise, comedy and fan interaction in a way that is rarely seen in music today. Our stage show includes many unexpected events and cover songs that wouldn't be expected from us and have included songs by artists Vanilla Ice, George Michael, The Lone Rangers and more. Prepare yourself for a high-octane show full of energy, passion and relentless fury. Unheard Concept formed from the ashes of many bands who were prominent figures in the Richmond scene. Vocalist Andrew Saunders and drummer Brandon Tuck are both former members of Fall of Rome. Guitarist Julian Houchins is formerly of Slingstone, Shadowstrand and is the former vocalist for Richmond metal band Hourglass and bassist Mike Desper is formerly of Richmond punk group Losers Next Door. “Scalera is a Cleveland metal band whose names sounds like a disease, and who’s music is equally infectious.” Formed in 2005 by members of semi-successful local bands: Element, Puppet, Resist, Nothing Left, Wrench and Obscured Vision. Scalera used their musical knowledge & experience to fine tune a “new metal/hardcore sound” drawing from influences like Machine Head, Bleeding Through & Deftones. “If Scalera were a breakfast cereal, they’d be sweet, but crunchy, high in fiber, full of sugar, and cut the shit out of your mouth.” Scalera gained immediate fan approval and attention by holding their own on a rigorous touring schedule, and opening for heavy-hitters including Hell Yeah, Taproot, Powerman 5000, Disturbed, Silent Civilian, Ill Nino, Brides of dDestruction, and Adema to name a few. Even before Scalera’s highly anticipated demo could be recorded, (by Rich Spalla of Stemm and guitar hero Cole Martinez) the band’s solid sound & impeccable work ethic gained them sponsorship from Basson Amps, Epidemic Clothing, and most recently Jagermeister. Scalera is currently self-promoting their current release, and hyping the upcoming album with a tour featuring fellow Jagerbands: Waiting 4 Never & Russett Burbank. Just the framework of Scalera’s world take-over preparations. Scalera's first show was on August 27th, 2005... and since then they have opened for Ill Nino, Allele, Adema, Brides of Desruction, Sw1tched, Trigger Point, Taproot, Evans Blue, Mushroomhead, Disturbed, Strapping Young Lad, Dog Fashion Disco, Byzantine, Stemm, Powerman 5000, God Forbid, Hell Yeah, Bloodsimple, Silent Civilian, Saint Diablo, Mower, Ekotren, Diecast and many more...
Gravity Burn hails from Atlanta, GA and was formed by drummer Josh Hack and guitarist Mike Buffa. Both have played in several top Atlanta bands and in the fall of ‘06 the concept of what was to become Gravity Burn was formed. They began writing arrangements and practicing as much as they could to lay the ground work for the future band. The search for a vocalist began sometime in October of ‘06. After an extensive and very exhaustive search they stumbled on an ad from female vocalist Magdalena Ollar. Magda had just relocated to the United States from her home in Poland with little more than a dream of finding the right band. Demos were exchanged and it soon became clear that she had found the sound that she was looking for and Josh and Mike had found the new lead singer for Gravity Burn. The band began writing and rehearsing in December of ‘06. In April of ‘07 they moved to a permanent rehearsal space at Avatar Studios and began the search for a bass player. With the addition of bassist Adam Holcomb sometime around August of ‘07, Gravity Burn was complete. Within a few weeks the band recorded its first demo at Virtuo Studios in Marietta, GA. Word of the new band spread quickly and in Sept of ‘07 before the band had played its first show, the band had begun to receive radio airplay being a featured break-out band on The Project 96.1. What followed next was an extremely fast ascent to the top of the Atlanta music scene. Endorsements have begun to roll in from manufacturers such as Sonor Drums, Silverfox Drumsticks, Spector Basses, X/2 Digital Wireless, and more are expected. By November of ’07, with just 4 months under its belt, the band signed to Renaissance Records with worldwide distribution through Koch Entertainment. The debut full length album, titled "Weight and Sea", is set for an early ‘08 release. Extensive World tour to follow.
