DJ - Tyler Esposito - What's a 21 year old doing listening to Badfinger? I grew up with a love for my Dad's rock music. I guess all kids do. Everything from The Beatles to the Beach Boys. But Badfinger was in fact my Dad's favorite band, so along with The Kinks and The Rolling Stones, Badfinger became a staple in my life. Their music was always being played. At home cleaning the house, on car rides, or simply just to listen to the music, Badfinger could always be found in some facet of life. At a local show, I got to meet Joey Molland when I was 10 years old, what a thrill! As I became a teenager I started branching out and listening to today's generation of music, gravitating toward power pop. I learned to appreciate Badfinger's music and story on a whole different level. I started to realize how many of today's bands love, and were directly influenced by Badfinger, from Superdrag to The Waking Hours. I've personally had conversations, face to face, with Arian Salazar of Third Eye Blind and Miles Zuniga of Fastball, both of whom told me of their love of Badfinger. To put it simply, Badfinger's music is magical to everyone that listens to it. I guess I'm not your average 21 year old. And that's a good thing.
