Since we started making badges back in 2005 we've always worked with the belief that every band we deal with has the potential to have top 10 records and a headline slot at Reading!!
Thankfully some who pass through Badges For bands doors go on to have a little bit of success...
In our first year, Liverpool band The Wombats ordered badges before climbing the charts and clocking up over 30 Festival appearances!!
Current kings of cool Glasvegas had an awesome set of dark and mysterious badges made in 2006 and are, quite frankly, still dark, mysterious and now critically acclaimed! In that same year Scroobius Pip appeared for some merch and as the years rolled by, little known acts Jack Penate, Adele and Crystal Castles (with those Madonna T-shirts) all had merch from our workshop, which we affectionately call, Badge Towers!
Don't get me wrong here, we're not saying that we directly flung these acts into the limelight, talent and hard work did that but in our own little way we like to think we helped!!
With this in mind we thought it'd be a great idea to create a PodCast specifically playing amazing new music, all handpicked from our very own customers. That was the idea, this is the reality, perhaps you'll hear a future chart topper...enjoy!!
