GROMOV
Gromov (as in Anton Nikolajewitsch Gromov, his given name) is since years an important part of the russian music underground. His masterly MIDI - skills include all types of breakbeat - oriented electronic music, reaching from mind-blowing breakcore/raggacore over smooth IDM/cut n' paste/hip-hop beats to bone-crushing drill n' bass.
He already performed shows with Venetian Snares, µ-ziq, Enduser, Drop the Lime, Rotator, Krumble, Sickboy, Aaron Spectre, Jason Forrest, Electric Kettle, Droon and many other international artists, all over Russia and Europe.
Now he is ready to conquer Britain, in his hand-baggage his vodka-soaked breakbeat massacre!
Mashup heavyweight. This guy plays epic live shows generally starting with dubstep , through oldskool, jungle, breakcore and winding it all the way up to blistering drill n bass. Totally unique on the scene, he has to be seen to be believed!
The Septic Insurgent a.k.a. Huw Sinclair is a Manchester based DJ/producer combining elements of breakbeat, jungle and progressive techno into a unique style of forward thinking dubstep. With imminent releases on the US Based Stupid Fly/Shift Recordings imprint Dub Alliance, and UK IDM label Meganeural Recordings, he is one to look out for in 2009, and his aggressive and energetic live shows are not to be missed!
Sketchster is an MC/Producer based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He has been on the Hip Hop Circuit for about six years, putting on his own gigs (in and around the UK Midlands) and supporting UK acts such as: Black Twang, Aspects, Numskullz, Louis Slipperz, Specifik and Project C, Sir Beans, Lost Project as well as other more local artists.
His style of expressive lyricism is very different, more individual and varying that you would expect of the typical UK rapper providing a very fresh & new sound. Some describe it as 'Organic' some describe it as 'Experimental', most say 'Its Sketchster!'

Wooohaaaaa!!! Braindrop is throwing its very first boat party on Saturday 6 June.
The vessel is specially equipped to hold large groups of people (and all the extra bass bins we can squeeze on). Her name is The Dutch Master and she be a mighty fine boat too!
It's going to be a ridiculously fun rinse up. However, if you think you can get away with being remotely serious and/or cool at this party - ye be mistaken. The Braindrop Boat Rave is fancy dress: Pirate's from the 80's. Arrgh...better get thinkin what ye gonna wear.
