Interests

  • General

Here are a few unique interests AND pet peeves of mine.

    1. I collect action figures. Goblins are a small part of them.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

    2. I don't care HOW hot you think she is, I HATE the Snorg T-shirt girl. She plagues my monitor every single time I log out, log in, send a message, do WHATEVER. I'm sick of seeing her buck-toothed little face, and would gladly hire a hitman to take her out.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

    3. Paris Hilton is a stupid, slutty, spoiled celebrity. If you think she's smart, I hope a stray piece of scrap metal orbiting the Earth suddenly gets caught in our gravitational pull, starts falling and lands on YOU.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

    4. If I ever see another girl with a shirt or pants that says "Little Heartbreaker" it will take everything in me to control my hand from slapping them.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

    5. Not a fan of emo music, or country. Rap really does nothing for me either, except that "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster" song from Office Space, and some old 80s/early 90s rap song by Dr. Dre. Something about surgery...

    6. Abortion is wrong wrong wrong WRONG any way you look at it, and that's leaving the whole 'Christian viewpoint' out of it. It is murder, and the sick doctors that perform it and the mothers that allow the murder will have to give account for every innocent life they take someday. Life begins at conception. I am 100% Pro-Life. Mother's choice my foot. We're dealing with life here. An innocent child that has done nothing wrong. Why kill?
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

    7. I dream of playing guitar in a band someday REALLY really bad. I'm been foolin' around with it off and on for the past 6 years, and unfortunately haven't gotten very far for lack of proper motivation and no one to teach me dosen't help either. I have dreams of letting insane riffs fly on stage someday, but I've got a long way to go. But hey, I still believe in dreaming...
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

    8. Cheezy old 90s video games are my forte. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I am what wikipedia calls a "Casual gamer" which can sorta be summed up that I don't play video games for sport or to proove anything; only for a little mindless distraction from the stress of the day. When it comes to modern competative games e.g. Halo or Guitar Hero type stuff, I'll be perfectly honest, I suck really bad. I get owned & pwned all the time, and can never seem to dish out any of the owning or pwnage myself. Perhaps it's my lack of the killing instinct, but whatever, I still try anyways. Besides, I give my friends a good laugh when I lose because I throw a literal HISSY FIT like a frickin' pansy. It's quite a site to see I'm telling you.
Some personal favorites of mine include:

    Silent Hill 2
    Photobucket

    ALL the Twisted Metals
    Photobucket
    Photobucket
    Photobucket

I am a complete n00b but have recently fallen in love with ol' Warcraft 3. Picked up a complete boxed copy of it at Goodwill for 75 cents :-0

Clock Tower is an interesting little Japanese game for Super Nintendo (or Super Famicom in Japan) I like. It's actually highly based on an Italian horror film from the 80's called Phenomena, or Creepers here in the US. It could be considered as the founding father of the survival horror genre of video games (think Resident Evil, Silent Hill). Graphically and gameplay-wise it really shows it's age nowadays, but the creep-factor still holds up because of the effed-up storyline. To sum it up you take the role as a chick who looks like Jennifer Connelly. She's just been transferred to a boarding house/clock tower. During her stay, all the kids she makes friends with go missing somehow, and there's one maniac kid who wields a giant pair of scissors chasing her around wanting to take her head off. You just run around the mansion avoiding the psyhco kid looking around lookin' for a way out, finding out what happened to your friends along the way. Sound easy? Download a SNES emulator (ZSNES is the best choice) and request that I send my special translated ROM to you. Your opinion of the game will be a good one ;) There would later be two sequals Clock Tower; one for the original Playstation and a third for the PS2.

Primal Rage was really fun back in the day and kinda still is. Stop motion-animated dinosaurs beating the living crap outta each other with blood and gore and annoying controls? Come on, you KNOW that's so 90s.

I'm a huge movie buff. Okay I'm a nerd. These four reign supreme in the comedy genre for me (Holy Grail was so close to being in the top 4 but was beaten by the sheer stupidity and quotability of Ricky Bobby:

About me:

Just trying to find my way in this often scary thing called life! I really need to write more about myself. I'll do that soon.

Who I'd like to meet:

I desire to meet the girl of my dreams. Seriously, like I don't want to stay single forever lol. But besides that, there's tons of bands I'd like to meet someday. Among them Alice in Chains, Journey, Mastodon, and tons of others.

Sorry it took me a while to comment back, its been a long week (last week). I'm doing very well! How have you been?
  • Aug 29 2009 1:17 AM

Wow, looks like you have had some hard times but you've overcome. Thats awesome. Trusting in God is pretty great. He'll never let you down.

So, i tried to look you up on facebook but there are a ton of jack newmans and I couldnt tell which one was you for sure. So you should probably look me up, Liz Trafton.

Basically, not much has been going on with me. My summer (one of the best in my life) is over as of sunday. Thats when I go back to school. I'm very sad to leave my family and my sweet little dog, but really excited to see my friends. Its gonna be my junior year. I can barely believe it. Its gone by wicked fast so far.

So yea, I honestly cant complain about one thing in my life right now. I'm very blessed. Also, a bachelors in Biblical Studies and Arts.. NICELY done.
