1999 - Bad Planet was Formed by Kevin Moody (Guitars, Vocals) and Richard Hicks (Drums) while working at a Memphis Record Store. They worked on original songs for several months and recorded a demo at Sun Studios.
2000 - Other members were brought into the band including Josh Auvenshine (Vocals), Tom Billings (Lead Guitar) and Daniel Moody (Bass Guitar). The next few years the band played gigs around the Memphis area and recorded a full length CD "Last Generation" at HighStacks Studios.
2003 - Personnel changes were made with the band revolving to a 3 piece lineup with Kevin, Daniel and Rich. The band continued to Record and played over 100 Live Shows in the Mid South Area.
2007 - Daniel left the band and Kevin and Rich continued writing and recording with different Producers and Studio musicians (Jody Hill, Greg Carmicheal).
2009 - Rich and Kevin are currently working together on the next Chapter of Bad Planet and celebrated the bands 10 year anniversary June 17th.
