A Paleonthologist and Biologist, Bob spent so much time in Death Valley, California, that friends christened him "Badwater Bob." Bob taught himself guitar on the tailgate of his pickup truck and now wanders the high plateaus of Utah, entertaining folks around the campfire and playing for tips in local bars.

It's been a hell of an adventure so far! Ive found that the young boys are into my accent and being from L.A sure does get one noticed. The weather has been okay. the past 6 months were hustling months for getting it together and I thank you for being there and making sure I kept my head on straight. America has been many things to me and yesterday as we sat near the bonfire and I caught your smile amongst the fun, I was so happy to have a Badwater in my life to remind me that America is home with Badwater in it. No matter where I wander off, you are one of the reasons I feel a connection to Los Angeles and when you leave it, I better be gone too because it wouldnt be the same without you. I've made up my mind. Im moving back to England within the next 6 - 9 months. So we should hang out alot because once Im gone...Im gone. I may just up and leave...but not without some proper Badwater hanging out time.
