Music
Music is an interesting topic, i really like Techno, epically trance, but all kinds are cool. I also enjoy almost everything else out there. I'm not so much into old style jazz, or R&B or Rap, but most everything else i do like
That being said some of my favorite bands are NIN, Tool, Vast, and Aimee Mann.
Movies
You know the kind of movie that leaves you brain fried for days after you watch it? "Magnolia" is the best example i can think of, but "American Beauty", and "Interview with a Vampire", also fall under the same umbrella.
Those are my favorites. but really i don't really get out to see many new movies.
Other's i enjoy include. . . Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Vanilla Sky, Girl Interrupted, Monty Python films, Neon Genesis: Evangelion, Crash, etc. . .
Television
TV is the most stupid thing I've ever seen! The most horrid thing I've ever seen is "Breaking News" where they interrupt what you are watching to tell you that something happened, but also that they don't KNOW anything about it! There's a fire at 4th south and 38th west, we aren't sure what's burning, if the property owners know, if the fire department has been called, if it's a controled burn because sometimes they do those there, but this is BREAKING NEWS and you heard it here first! geeze. . . i hate TV.
Then those few shows you do like, are horrible too because they do things like kill people off and give you a sense of catharsis at the end that i'm not looking for. yeah. . . i'm not a big fan of TV.
Now that my rant is over, I don't miss Grey's Anatomy, and i used to be really into Dead Like Me, but showtime became too expensive when DirecTV realized i didn't work there anymore and turned off my free satelite (quitting was STILL one of the best days of my life)
Books
I love books, I've got shelves full of them, i haven't read them all but I'm working though them, i just seem to amass them faster then i can read through them! My favorites are sci/fi fantasy, I was one of the Tolkien Fans before they made any movies (props to the movies by the way, i wish there were 6 instead of 3 so they could be more true to the world and story in the books! but their still nice) I also love the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind, very very excellent series.
Heroes
People who are selfless enough to put what others want and need before themselves. I try to live this way, but usually end up feeling guilty because i turn it around on myself and figure I'm really only doing it so i feel better about myself and am just being self-serving by trying to be kind and supporting to other people.

About me: Life is a journey not a destination, enjoy the trip!
I'm redoing my profile tonight... it's the end of July and I have no focus in my life at the moment. So instead of doing something productive (like studying for my final tomorrow) I'm playing on myspace instead.
I am exactly who I have made myself to be. I am the culmination of every experience that has come up in my life to this point. Everything that I've gone though, hardship, happiness, ache, pain, joy, and smile have helped make me who I am. The more I realize this the more I like who I am.
I enjoy many things; From learning new things (I will be a student for MANY MANY more years), to riding a harley (2001 sportster 883), Gardening, Reading, Writing poems (however awful they may be), photography, computers (I'm more than a geek, i'm a well paid geek), Music, theatre, Opera, Ceramics, Snowboarding, Moab, Camping... this list goes on and on and on... I'm a little bit intersted in just about everything and have a short enough attention span that i will get really into something for a while, then want to move onto something else... this often results in me coming back to something many times over again, but I have fun in the process.

People are the core of everything social in this world (Duh). My friends are some of the greatest people, my family is awesome as well. I like people like them. People who are honest, don't keep secrets and lie, people who enjoy discussing things.
I will talk about everything from abortion, to organic chemical equations, to the hydrologic cycle of the planet, what's for dinner, and how the music was at the club last weekend. I am a very social person and never feel whole or complete if I'm not communicating and talking with or working with people.
You've crossed my mind a couple times this week. :) I hope you're doing really well. You've had more of an impact on my life than I think you know... Anyway, just wanted to send you some love and say hello.
