Palmistry, Belly Dance, vintage Arabic music, hockey, bourbon, knots and tying knots, dead things, things made from human hair, food that tastes like flowers and the allure of the irrational.
Music
I like old-school Arabic music. Other than that, every band I like usually ends up sucking on their next album. Beware.
About me: NEW Instructional DVD Series from Bahaia & CGP
My music and performance DVD's
My name is Betsi, but nobody really wants to hire "Betsi the Belly Dancer". Yes - that's right, Betsi with an "i". I changed the spelling when I was 11 because I loved Nikki Sixx... still do. I went through a string of goofy-ass dance names before I settled down with Bahaia. I pronouce it Ba-HEY-ya, but you are welcome to butcher the pronunciation so long as I don't have to hear your theory on my misspelling. I answer to just about anything that starts with a B. Please don't make me prove that to you.
So, should you call me Bahaia or Betsi? Well, let's keep it simple. If we have ever had a drink together and so long as that was not in an Arabic Nightclub or at a Belly Dance event or gig, you can call me Betsi. If you are one of my students, you can call me Betsi to my face but should call me Bahaia to everyone else. The rest of you should stick with Bahaia, or Mrs. Robins if you're nasty.

AND I will TOTALLY tell you next time I am coming to Texas. My last trip was a pretty tight squeeze on time just to get family in, so I didn't really tell anyone. LUV YA!! xoxo
