Bahar Adıgüzel started playing guitar at age sixteen with Öner Yavuz
then continued to study with Raffi Arslanyan. In 2003 she entered
Kocaeli University, Faculty of Fine Arts, studied classical guitar with
Ozan Akyatan and flamenco guitar with Dr.M.Safa Yeprem. She also
worked harmony with Mehmet Ali Uzunselvi and Dr.Nail Yavuzoğlu,
Theory of Turkish Art Music with Ismail Hakkı Özkan. She graduated
from Kocaeli University with the first degree and now attending to
master degree in Yeditepe University,Teaching Music department.
Besides her solo workings she is working on a guitar quartet project
with Hereke Guitar Quartet,they gave many recitals in different
places like Istanbul Kadıköy Public Education Center ( III. Istanbul
Music Teachers Symposium), Ankara Bilkent A.A.Saygun Hall (II.
Turkey Guitar Meeting), Kocaeli University R.Akkus Hall, Istanbul
Erenköy Anatolian Fine Arts High school, Istanbul Atakent Culture
Center, Düzce University and Akdeniz University. She has attended master classes of Elena Papandreou, Carmelo Martinez and Soner Egesel.

Gitar çalışmalarına Giresun'da başladı, 1999-2001 yılları arasında
Raffi Arslanyan ile devam etti. 2001-2005 yılları arasında Istanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuarı'nda yarı zamanlı olarak Türk
Müziği Nazariyati eğitimi aldi. 2002 yılında Istanbul Üniversitesi
Eczacılık Fakültesi'nden mezun olan Adıgüzel, 2003 yılında Kocaeli Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Müzik Bölümü'ne girerek
gitar eğitimini Ozan Akyatan ve ardından Dc.Dr.M.Safa Yeprem ile
sürdürdü. Eğitimi süresince Erdem Çöloğlu ile Solfej ve Müzik
Teorisi, Nail Yavuzoğlu ile solfej ve armoni çalışmaları yaptı. 2006
yılında kurulan Hereke Gitar Dörtlüsü ile birlikte başta Türkiye II.
Gitar Buluşmasi(Ankara- Bilkent Üniversitesi) ve III. Müzik
Öğretmenleri Sempozyumu ( Kadıköy Halk Eğitim Merkezi) olmak
üzere, Erenköy Avni Akyol Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi (Ist.),
Atakent Kültür Merkezi (Ist.), Kocaeli Üniversitesi Prof. Dr. Baki
Komşuoğlu Kültür ve Kongre Merkezi, Izmit Sabancı Kültür Merkezi,
Yeni Melek Gösteri Merkezi (Ist.), Düzce Üniversitesi (Bolu) ve Akdeniz Üniversitesi (Antalya) gibi birçok yerde konserler verdi.
Elena Papandreou, Carmelo Martinez ve Soner Egesel'in ustalık sınıflarına katılma imkanı bulan Adıgüzel, Lisans eğitimini 2007 yılında Yüksek Onur derecesi ve birincilikle tamamladı. 2008 yılında Yeditepe Üniversitesi Müzik Öğretmenliği Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans Programını tamamlayan Adıgüzel, solo çalışmalarının yanısıra Hereke Gitar Dörtlüsü ile de calışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

I decided to continue writing mine as soon as I began to dream in early childhood. One doesn't need to stop the journey along the way. It is necessary to believe that the stars which light our way will never go out, and to continue to follow our dreams which inspire us in the most beautiful moments of our lives. If not, why is my star helping me to write so many fine melodies? I composed a suite for my dream, called " Melody for an Oscar", and I am convinced that one day someone will help me to reach for that Oscar in Hollywood, which I have always imagined in my dreams.
