Bahooga are seven guys from the region of Krefeld, germany, who simply try to have fun and make the best out of the time given. Their music style is some sort of ska, though you can find influences from all kinds of music in their tunes. Be it “classical” Twotone or some storming Punkrock, as long as people are having fun, the guys are going to play it.
Founded in February 2004 in the classical Trio setup of bass, guitar and drums, the gang found each other over some months and pretty fast the Lineup was completed.
For their stagedebut they recorded a 7-track EP called „ … before i crash“ and produced 100 CDs. The Location for the Debutgig was completely packed and stacked with people being curios about Bahooga, the first 100 CDs were nearly sold out within days.
Bahooga delight with eagerness to play and some good portion of stage presence, with hooky songs and melodies that find their way in to the listener’s ear. Danceable but significant, because good times are always important.
Apart from a hype about always deeper tuned guitars and hard sounds, the seven do their own thing. And success bears their intention, as Bahooga continue to enter stages across the country.
