It's been a sweet ride since last summer, but now Bajawalla is officially on a break from performing. Reason being, a couple of our guys have to finish up some school stuff. Not that we don't absolutely love playing out and having a great time with all of our friends and fans!
So in the meantime, a couple of us are testing the waters in other musical endeavors: Make sure to check out Mike and Bobby's new project: DELANEY. This band is gonna shake things up on the West Coast this summer, featuring Bobby and new guitarist Lee Barbara on vocals, and some fun surf-rock tunes written by Bobby, Lee and Mike.
Also check out Mike Maimone and his first solo album, Driving West, which he recorded for his 2,400 mile trip from Chicago to Medford, OR. Bobby holds it down on bass, and Mike plays piano, B-3 and wurly as well as taking a stab at vocals. Last but certainly not least, Lawrence Santiago is currently onscreen in The New World, and will be working on some solo stuff as well this summer. Make sure to check out his photography, sculpture and new tunes coming soon!
